The Roma Bank Community Foundation has awarded Rainbow Rabbit Educational Services Corp. with a grant that will assist the organization’s efforts in expanding their educational program. This is the second grant the bank has awarded the organization in as many years.
During National Bullying Prevention Month, Team Rainbow Rabbit is profiling bullying victims who have been able to rise above their troubles despite encountering many obstacles along the way.

Sadly, this has happened again. This time in Lynden, Washington—where Vylit Vander Giessen, a 13-year-old girl, was apparently a bullying victim and took her own life.
It was revealed shortly after the girl’s death that she was a victim of school bullying and online bullying.
Of course, the welcoming of Rainbow Rabbit into school teachers’ classrooms is vital to the success of the program. However, it all starts with the approval of PTA (Parent Teacher Associations) communities across the country, which is comprised of millions of families, students, teachers, administrators, business and community leaders. All who are devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of parent involvement in schools.
