Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the two critical gift-buying days following Thanksgiving that shoppers everywhere look forward to taking part in. However, Giving Tuesday is the day that serves as a true reminder of the “reason for the season.”

With #GivingTuesday taking place just five days after Thanksgiving, the Rainbow Rabbit organization is thankful for those who helped us achieve some important milestones in 2017.

The year 2017 was momentous for our company. We officially established our non-profit status, which was a monumental step in bringing our anti-bullying program to the masses. The response to our organization’s mission and program has been nothing short of astounding. We have surrounded ourselves with people who have a rooted interest in Rainbow Rabbit’s purpose, and we’d like to thank some of them right now:

Team Rainbow Rabbit, your ongoing efforts and dedication further convince us that we are making a difference in the lives of children everywhere. You believe in us, we believe in you, and we’re so appreciative that all of you are with us on this journey!

-To everyone who has offered donations essential to the placement of our program in schools and in learning institutions across the country, including Investors Bank and the Hollman organization. Whether this was done via social media channels or through our Guidestar profile, your generosity is helping to make all of this possible.

Birches Elementary School, who made Rainbow Rabbit the star of their “Great Kindness Challenge Week.”  If you live in South Jersey and want your child to attend a school that stresses our lessons of kindness, tolerance, unity, and inclusion, you need look no further. Michael Petticrew and the entire Birches staff make every child who walks through their doors feel like they belong. Their philosophies are directly in line with the lessons of our anti-bullying program, and we are honored to be associated with them.

-To all of the schools who took a chance on our Anti Bullying Educational Program. We will continue to improve our program by introducing new stories, characters and lessons, while expanding the curriculum and increasing awareness of bullying prevention. We are honored and humbled that we have the ability to help shape the lives of your students for the better!

Thanks to our participation in Giving Tuesday we can build support for our organization’s philanthropic activities—most noticeably during the holiday season. Every act of generosity counts.

Rainbow Rabbit is looking to increase donations on #GivingTuesday, so we can continue to offer our program to schools everywhere. More than half of bullying situations (57%) stop when a peer intervenes on behalf of the student being bullied, and School-based bullying prevention programs decrease bullying by up to 25%.*  Our mission of empowering children everywhere will continue with your help. The details will be released next Tuesday, November 28th. Keep track of us on our social media channels during the week!

In the meantime, we would like to offer this free coloring sheet for kids looking to create their own Rainbow Rabbit.
