Kim Kline, a Los Angeles-based indie recording artist and writer of the anti-bullying track “Stand Tall,” has formed a strategic partnership with Rainbow Rabbit.
The partnership evolved by means of social media through several mutual interests shared between the two parties.
“Partnering with Rainbow Rabbit was the perfect way for me to get more involved with bullying prevention and education,” says Kline. “I’ve shared several interactions with Team Rainbow Rabbit on social media, which quickly turned into us wanting to join forces to help educate our youth on bullying. The story of Rainbow Rabbit is such a great way for kids to understand that being different is not just okay, it’s great. It’s needed to make us different. It’s what makes each of us unique.”
Kline, a Texas native whose numerous musical accolades include LA Music Awards “Best Pop Female Vocalist,” New Music Awards “Best New Top 40 Artist” and Music Connection Magazine “Hot 100 unsigned artists,” came up with the inspiration for “Stand Tall” while writing her soon-to-be-released second album, Exhale.
“The inspiration behind ‘Stand Tall’ unfortunately came from complete grief and shock, constantly hearing stories of death-by-suicide by young kids and teens. There was one story of a girl from Houston, Texas—a senior in high school, her whole life was ahead of her. It was so devastating to me subconsciously that when I started writing Exhale, ‘Stand Tall’ basically wrote itself.”
The response from “Stand Tall” was overwhelmingly positive, allowing Kline to interact with people from all walks of life.
“It’s been an amazing response and continues to grow daily,” notes Kline. “People from all around the world have shared my video for the song. The most interesting part of people reaching out is that they’re from all ages, all races and genders, which again speaks volumes in regards to the epidemic bullying has become. It was sad to hear from adults who still have painful memories of their experiences as a kid being bullied that still haunt them today. The psychological effects are so damaging.”
Furthermore, Kline’s platform also gave her the opportunity to visit schools.
“It’s been very empowering feeling that I’m making a difference in a child’s life. My advice was about being unique and that there’s only one of you, and how special that is. This is exactly why partnering with Rainbow Rabbit was the perfect partnership for me. Our missions are aligned so closely.”
Joe Vallee, co-founder of Rainbow Rabbit Educational Services Corp., echoes Kline’s sentiments.
“We’re tremendously honored and humbled to have Kim join our team,” Vallee said. “A song like ‘Stand Tall’ shows she has clear compassion for bullying victims. At the same time, she’s someone who can be a tremendous ambassador for Rainbow Rabbit and our mission. In addition, Kim is such a talented artist with a tremendous following. The best is still yet to come for her. We’re excited to see what 2020 has in store for Kim and Rainbow Rabbit.”
Kline is currently in discussions to tour nationally and internationally in 2020. If this happens, there’s a pretty good chance you could see Rainbow Rabbit at a city near you. Welcome to Team Rainbow Rabbit, Kim!
