Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who sacrificed their lives while serving in the United States armed forces. Once having a traditional date of May 30, it is now celebrated on the last Monday in May.
While the unofficial start to the summer season is a great time to catch up with friends and family, it’s important that the true meaning of the weekend is not lost upon us.
