The following contains excerpts from ABC4 Utah, who recently interviewed Joe Vallee on the Rainbow Rabbit book relaunch:
Overcome adversity and gain empathy with the help of a cuddly friend, Rainbow Rabbit. Joe Vallee joined GTU to share more about the character’s revised children’s book and program.
Vallee has played a significant role in the revision of the book. He also oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization. Vallee has co-authored three critically acclaimed books. Along with his wife and mother, he recently penned a yet-to-be-released sequel featuring brand new characters.
Vallee discussed on ABC4 Utah how the Rainbow Rabbit Educational Program serves as a method to empower children, parents, and educators to navigate a sometimes unforgiving society. It is no secret that childhood bullying is a significant problem. The book is a terrific tool that educates others about the importance of acceptance.

Vallee’s grandfather, Arthur Vallee who worked with Disney, created Rainbow Rabbit. He is a unique character that other rabbits bullied because of his colorful appearance. Overall, the story teaches us that we must remain true to who we are, no matter what obstacles or pressures might be in our path.
